Sweet Honey Rocks!

John and I had purchased concert tickets for Friday night. Since Ellie was doing better by then, my mom & dad came over to babysit. John and I had a nice night out. We went to see Sweet Honey in the Rock perform at Visitation Church. I'd heard one of their cd's before, but had never seen them live. They are a six member, all female, African American a capella group. I must say, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Very moving. Their songs are a mix of blues/reggae/African spiritual songs/chanting. I've been playing a cd I bought, I think Ellie likes them too!
