fatherhood



It's a different world than when I was the little guy on the left. The expectations and rewards of being a father have changed a lot---for the better.

Men of my father's generation didn't get to change a lot of diapers or do a lot of things that today's fathers do.

No one actually likes changing diapers, getting spit up on, or going without sleep, but it's the price of admission to be an important, integral part of my daughter's life.

I'll gladly pay that price.

Besides, some day she'll bring some boy home and I will be able to say that I used to wipe her butt butt.

Priceless.
