Now that Ellie is a mature three weeks old, we've begun supplementing the breast feeding with bottles of expressed milk. I'm not sure the lactation nazis consultants would approve, but I'm all in favor of it. I love feeding my daughter. I like the way her arms get active and she starts grabbing for the bottle. I'm even fond of the glazed look her eyes get as the little milk junkie becomes sated. Heck, it might even be better than wiping the poo off her butt-butt.
