Ellie is now two weeks old! Her checkup was on Tuesday. Everything looked good, and she is up to 8 lbs 4 oz. That was great news. She's at 80 percentile for height. The doctor guessed that she would be taller than me. Which wouldn't really be that hard!
The breastfeeding is going better this week. Still not easy, but getting better. We had our first solo outing today, we went to a breastfeeding support group. It was ok, I think I'll go again. I got some good information on ways to interact with a newborn, and met some other moms.

Yay for solo outings..... its amazing how cumbersome it feels at first and then it becomes second nature.
